The Tuscan Tile Table Tops

When I began the projects to construct the structure of these tables I began by heading out into the woods and selecting Choice Cedar to cut down into legs and Then bought some Poplar to use as trim for the top itself. Then I decided on the sizes of the top and length of the legs. In the larger size the table was roughly 14 inches wide by 3 ft long. The steps involved were fairly straight forward. The poplar was measured and each end was cut to a 45 degree angle to meet in a neat edge. The whole structure was covered in two coats of primer and then painted in three coats of a Forest Green Paint. The Legs were installed using a technique using two long screws and Pro Bond wood glue. Then I grouted the tiles. When the table top was completely painted and the legs were attached I began setting my tiles to decide on the final pattern and spacing that I desired. Then a industrial strength cement/glue was used to affix the tiles to the top and after 18 hrs the surface was wiped clean and a tinted grout mixture was mixed and then applied between the tiles. The table ended up looking great and the whole assembly took less than three days of work.

Welcome to the site

Over the past few years I have harnessed whatever talents I possess to design fully original funrinture pieces. After hours and hours toiling over the fine details I discovered the beauty of the pieces that went well beyond aesthetic value. So I formed a small company to develop my ideas further. The company is called Rustic Coast Furniture and features products that are straight out of the hours and weeks I have spent working with hand tools and raw wood I gathered hiking around the woods. For Rustic Coast everything is handmade and totally unique. There are coffee tables, treasure chests, end tabletables, toy train tables and, toy boxes or chests, floral arrangements, wreaths, doll houses, puppet theaters, lamp stands and tables, and a alot more.
The company is growing more as the design ideas flow out and become final products. These products feature indoor andoutdoor furniture as well as wooden toys and fun crafts. There really is a wide variety of products and it is all designed and built in house. Rustic Coast also has partnered to create amazing original floral arrangements from dried materials which make them a lasting purchase. Natural Charm also creates container gardens and can offer gardening consultation from a Master Gardener from Clemson University.
Rustic Coast Furniture is a fast growing company and the addition of products from Natural Charm is exciting for Rustic Coast. The combination of design and use covers many areas of our products as rustic and wicker design, country and coastal styles, and the Jazz Age or Roaring twenties of authors F. Scott Fitzgerald and Ernest Hemingway collide. Everything is a unique design and won't be found anywhere else. Natural Charm also offers dried and live wreaths fully decorated and partially complete for home assembly.
